Education
BA in Journalism, American University

2010 - present

At American University I have been involved with AU Scholars, a competitive two-year research program, as well as American University PRIDE, the university's largest student-run LGBTQ+ advocacy group. During my two years as a member of the organization's executive board, I served as a bridge between students and faculty resources, secured funding and university support for events such as our annual Pride Prom, drag shows, and advocacy-planning general body meetings, and planned events such as when we welcomed trailblazing transgender athlete Harrison Browne to campus to speak and answer questions from students.
